<div align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">It really is true, skin
in your thirties can be better than ever with a well-designed skin care routine
to combat the natural changes. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Frequently people take
their regime more seriously in their 30s and a consistent, simple approach is
ideal. The skin is typically still radiant and a few targeted products can really
help to repair sun damage, break-outs and other imperfections like dark circles
and redness. Harsher, ‘quick fix’ products should be avoided and a well thought
out combination of anti-inflammatory and barrier repair products are essential
in enhancing the natural protective functions of the skin, whilst clearing
pores, smoothing the texture and removing fine lines. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">The key is to maximise
the appearance of the good areas and prevent future damage to minimise visible
ageing. In order to reveal naturally radiant, beautiful skin, remember these
key points: To start – keep it simple, clean the skin well using a gentle
cleanser that incorporates a natural toner, this will prepare your skin without
stripping away the necessary healthy balance of oils. For your ‘main course’ be consistent, find
something that works and stick with it – do this by consulting a specialist,
not by dabbling with ‘celebratory endorsed trends’. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">And finally – for your
dessert, apply a renewal product and then a SPF to bind to the skin before
make-up (if you wear it). All of this should take no longer than 5-10 minutes
in the morning, perfect to fit in with work and family life. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Find a skin specialist
near you and treat yourself to the best skin you’ve ever had.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">We all know that we
should wear sunscreen, but sometimes the choice of products seems utterly
bamboozling, and the prices vary hugely. Sunscreen should really be a part of
every skin care regime and selecting one with a broad spectrum that protects
against UVA and UVB is crucial. The ingredients are controlled by the FDA in
order to maintain high standards and act effectively. They do this by protecting
against premature ageing, reducing the risk of skin cancer, decreasing
inflammation and providing a non-irritating physical, chemical and biological
barrier against ambient UV light. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Other important
characteristics may be water resistance and the degree of sun protection
offered (SPF), normally over 25 is adequate with regular re-application. If the
sunscreen binds to the skin effectively, it can also act to repair any existing
damage, thus increasing the degree of protection. Natural botanical ingredients
can help to produce a smooth, shear coverage without the unpleasant sunscreen
odour and white/oily appearance that can be associated with some of the
thicker, greasy formulations. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">It is best to apply
sunscreen around 30 minutes before exposure, and always staggered with other
products/make-up to allow it to bind successfully to the skin. If you feel that
your sunscreen in addition to your other skin regime products are too ‘heavy’
when all applied during the day, use your non-sun protecting products at night,
this has the added benefit of allowing them longer to act in the absence of
make-up.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">During our late
thirties and early forties many of us start to notice subtle changes to our
skin. These can include; an increase in fine lines and wrinkles,
hyper-pigmentation (age spots), dry patches on the skin, loss of elasticity,
crow’s feet around the eyes and general dullness. Damage accumulates from years of sun
exposure, hormone fluctuations, weight changes, poor skincare routines and
diet/exercise regimes.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Key target strategies
to improve the skin include; reducing inflammation, strengthening the skin
barrier, encouraging cell turnover for improved clarity and texture. Some
excellent preventative methods can also be employed to hinder future ageing and
clear pores of dead skin cells and other impurities.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Your skin specialist
will be able to suggest specific products for your own particular needs i.e.
retinol to reduce expression lines, formulated serum for a natural eye-lift, a
barrier shield with sun protection to improve pigmentation. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">A combination of a
range of specific botanical (natural vegetable and/or plant derived) products
are also very popular as they tend to be suitable for a wide range of skin
types and give prolonged results with less risk of recurrence.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">A little knowledge can
give us phenomenal power when it comes to our bodies and looking our absolute
best. Stretch marks can really affect some people’s confidence, but they can be
improved, and in some cases become invisible, by reversing the atrophy
(weakened, ‘shrivelled’ skin), repairing damaged/depleted collagen and calm the
associated inflammation. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">During the summer
months we can also suffer from flare-ups of body acne, open pores, keratosis
pilaris (red ‘bumps’ normally at the tops of the arms and/or legs and buttocks).<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Products that contain
ceramides, plant and fruit extracts, can all assist skin repair, whilst
simultaneously giving anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing benefits. These give
the appearance and feel of increased firmness by stimulating collagen and
elastin, plus reduce excess pigment that can age the face, hands and decollate.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Remember that skin is
the body’s largest organ and the concentration of oil glands and follicles vary
dramatically from the face, to the torso and the limbs.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Ask your skin
specialist to recommend a product containing the correct essential oils with
the appropriate antimicrobial, antifungal and hydrating properties for the
area(s) that concern you. Some of them can even assist with conditions such as
eczema, psoriasis. Many of these are ideally applied at night, and by the
morning you will notice an improvement, what an ideal way to start the day!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">The delicate skin on
the lips can actually reveal someone’s natural age earlier than other areas.
Even unwanted skin anomalies such as pigmentation and fine lines can become
accentuated around the mouth area, as it is somewhere that we naturally focus
on during conversation. A range of anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and
barrier repair technology developed products can fortify the lip area. They do
this by providing natural (botanical) assistive lipids derived from apples,
dates, avocado and peppermint. These hydrate the area, assist with collagen,
elastin, firmness and skin repair. This, in turn, decreases the natural ‘thinning’
of the skin on the lips, which can be particularly noticeable in women due to
the higher percentage decrease in collagen production with age. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">The lips also have less
of the natural oils and lipids than the rest of the body, meaning that they are
more susceptible to the evaporation of moisture. This leads directly to
dryness, cracking and wrinkling. By applying lip balm continuously (to try and
counter this) throughout the day can also pose problems as it can attract a build-up
of bacteria and limits the natural turnover of dead skin cells. The additional
benefit of soft-focus technology helps to diffuse the light, so that visible
lines become less noticeable immediately. As ever, the best course of action is
to speak to your skin specialist, who will be able to recommend a product that
best fits your areas of concern, lifestyle and budget.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Many women can
experience new challenges for their skin approaching and post-menopause due to
a reduction in oestrogen. This can decrease collagen and elastin production,
leading to sagging and thinning skin, age spots, fine lines, break-outs,
dryness and changes in hair growth. Any exposure to UV, poor diet and stress
earlier in life can also become more apparent. It is important to encourage
cell turnover, for increased clarity and smooth texture. Also of high
importance is to strengthen the skin barrier, retain moisture, tone and firm
(by reinforcing fibres), reduce inflammation, encourage collagen production,
nourish and protect the skin from UV.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Specialised retinol
products are scientifically proven to greatly improve the appearance of ageing
skin, but it is important to discuss the strengths and product options with
your skin specialist to ensure you do not use a product that is too strong for
your skin type. It is also essential to hydrate the skin, not just via drinking
water, but also applying products that impart moisture into the epidermis. Many
people try intense Vitamin A products, but a high concentration of Vitamin A,
when not balanced with other vitamins and essential ingredients, can cause
intense irritation. Professional skin clinicians will be able to help you
tailor make a home-use regime to optimise your anti-ageing daily routine and
look fantastic.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

requires healthy lipid (natural oils etc) ratios to optimise function. By
repairing the outermost natural protective layer, the function of the skin is
at its best and it protects us from damaging environmental factors whilst
retaining a healthy level of moisture. Targeting different cellular levels, enables
the possibility of repairing fine lines/wrinkles, heal the skin and reduce
visible ageing. Conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and keratosis pilaris can
all be improved as well as simultaneously firming the skin, reduce inflammation
and increase collagen production. Some products for the face and body are
formulated differently due to varying amounts of oil glands and absorption
rates in a range of physiological areas such as the eyes, neck, hands and
torso. Many ‘high street’ brands contain large molecules that just ‘sit on the
surface of the skin’ and hence have limited positive effects mid-long term.
Some essential oils (naturally derived oils, frequently from plants) can be
sensitizing so it is important to discuss your skin type with your skin
professional, for example it is possible to have ‘dry skin’ but still suffer
from regular ‘break outs’. Any acne-prone skin can benefit from ingredients
that specialise in the reduction of inflammation, which in turn reduces excess
oil/sebum formation. Some unwanted skin inflammation can be caused and
exaggerated by too much exfoliation (with microbeads and other granules), which
removes surface scale/unevenness, but also some of the healthy skin barrier.
So, before buying your next ‘miracle product’, have an extensive chat with a
professional consultant about your specific needs in order to maximise your

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">One of the main
benefits to applying a cream at night is that it enables you to apply a product
with a diverse range of molecule sizes, specially formulated to act at
different cell layers to give a vast range of positive effects. This is more
efficient at night as sometimes the cream may be thicker than a ‘light-weight
moisturiser’ so not ideal underneath make-up or if going directly outside due
to excess shine etc. The main benefits include; anti-inflammatory properties to
reduce irritation, keratolytic response enabling renewal and fortification,
hydration, reduction in unwanted pigment and redness, collagen stimulation and
elastin synthesis. An intense night cream can also be beneficial on the neck,
decollate and hands. The most immediate effects are overall brightened skin
tone, reduction in age spots, decreased skin scale and improved contour.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Many of the well
formulated products contain peptides, which react with specifically targeted
cells and can assist wound healing, reduce dermatitis and eczema.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">It is never too late to
start using a night/nourishing cream as a combination of fruit acids and other
natural ingredients can reverse some of the damage inflicted many years ago
leading to fine lines, wrinkles, dryness and other visible imperfections. Due
to the absence of steroids the creams are also safe for continual usage. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Acne and the associated
scarring can be deeply traumatising for anyone who has ever suffered with it.
Many home-use products simply don’t work and the most commonly prescribed
alternatives can have some very unpleasant side effects, including being strong
depressants and the condition reappearing as soon as the treatment course comes
to an end.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Non-invasive treatments
are becoming more popular, mainly because they are very successful, affordable,
and can be booked on a ‘need-only basis’, hence many clients will simply book
in when they have a break-out. In some instances this may not be for several
years after the initial course and may be just a ‘top-up’ or ‘one-off’. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">The most frequently
desired treatments tend to be laser/pulsed light, using a range of bacteria
targeting wavelengths, or a chemical peel (which may be mild-moderate or
strong, depending on the individual’s needs). The treatments can be combined
and tailor-made, plus supported with a range of clinically formulated products
for use by the individual at home to maximise the effectiveness. All treatments
assist the removal of bacteria/visible acne and the reduction/removal of
scarring.</span><span style="color: #44546a; font-family: "Calibri",sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri;"><o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">The eye area is the
first place that someone normally notices when looking at another person and
can be an area that is an instant give away to our age, levels of tiredness and
general fatigue. The area is particularly sensitive and not all
treatments/products are appropriate for use due to the sensitivity of the
skin. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Non-invasive
radio-frequency (RF) is one of the few procedures which is entirely safe for
the area and it is fantastic for removing fine lines, giving the skin a natural
lift. It also reduces excess fluid so improves the appearance of puffiness and
bags. The treatment normally costs less than £50 and can be done as a one off
for a special event, or a regular treatment once every 6-8 weeks to prevent reoccurrence.
It is entirely comfortable and feels like a slightly warm massage of the area.
To enhance the treatment further and give results that last for 12-16 weeks
there are specially formulated serums available for home-use, these cost under
£40 and hence an annual treatment schedule can cost as little as £12.50-17 per month
(based on 3-4 treatments a year with 1-2 product packs = £150-200). This can
prove much more cost effective than buying even the budget brand products from
the high street and has a longer lasting effect with much deeper skin
penetration depth. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Toners have become less
common in many people’s skin care regimes over recent years as their function
hasn’t been understood as well as cleansers or moisturisers. However, they have
several important functions and can also be applied to underarms and legs to
soothe redness and irritated skin, for example, after shaving. If kept in the
fridge on a hot day they are wonderful to spray on the skin to cool it down,
minimize unwanted shine and help prevent break-outs on hard to reach areas like
the back. Some popular ingredients being used in preparatory toners currently
are cucumber, marshmallow root, willow bark and menthol extracts as well as
salicylic acid, combining anti-inflammatory, wound healing, anti-microbial and
soothing properties to clear pores and reduce acne and roughness. They have the
added bonus of preparing the face superbly for post-care skin regimes, leave it
feeling clean, fresh and allowing for the smooth application of make-up.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Some common conditions
that can be improved by using a well formulated toner are; eczema, rosacea, keratosis
pilaris, fine lines, mild pigmentation, acne/open pores, unwanted shine/excess
oil, sensitivity and dehydrated/tired skin. Toners also have the added benefit
of pH balancing, a great all-rounder!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Many light based laser
and pulsed light treatments are safe to do on a range of skin types, but not
when someone has excessive pigment in their skin i.e. a tan, as this can mean
the response is affected and the treatment can be irregular. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">However, the good news
is that there are some procedures that are completely unaffected by a tan.
Amongst the most popular are radio-frequency treatments, These can be done for
body toning, cellulite and stretch mark removal, non-surgical face lifts and
muscular strains/sporting injuries. What a perfect pre-holiday feel good therapy….get
beach body beautiful, look sculpted, feel taught and toned and give yourself a
flawless boost. As the procedure is non-invasive, no one would even know that
you had a little ‘assistance’ in your amazing physique, and there are no side
effects, woo hoo! Get ready to ‘strut your stuff’ and look truly incredible.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Chemical Peels come in
a vast range of formulations and strengths so choosing the correct one is
something that is important to discuss with your skin specialist. The blend
selected will be dependent on the condition that you are having treated,
ranging from anti-aging, acne, scarring, rosacea, deep wrinkles etc. It is also
imperative to simultaneously look at the disruption to the skin barrier that is
desired to permit any desired inflammation whilst preventing any excess damage
or unwanted deeper peeling. The overall effect should be to renew, fortify and
repair, thus culminating in a healthy, rejuvenated effect. Important goals are
to increase cell turnover, balance pH, and keep healthy oils within the skin. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Good bullet points to
remember before your consultation are: acknowledge your own skin type, do not
opt for a peel because a ‘celebrity’ has had one. Do not use in conjunction
with a physical exfoliator as this can overly dry the skin and damage the new,
fresh skin cells. Try a peel with no/minimal preservatives, fragrances or
synthetic chemicals.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Radio-Frequency is a
great non-invasive way of creating a non-surgical face lift and has no
associated downtime. The results are seen after just one treatment and you get
the added benefit of getting a cumulative effect with subsequent treatments,
meaning that the results get better and last longer with each visit. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">The best way to maximise
the results are by hydrating the skin with a good emollient, as recommended by
your skin specialist. The product will help to strengthen your skin barrier and
promote collagen and elasticity to help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness
and dark circles. The best products are also non-comedogenic i.e. they do not
clog pores and they reduce redness, inflammation and optimise cell renewal. You
may also find that your skin will benefit from a more concentrated formulation
during the cooler months and possibly a very mild retinoid based product during
the warmer months that has no associated irritation of skin-thinning side
effects.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Most people find that
after a non-surgical face lift the main areas to focus your home based
treatment regime are periocular wrinkling (i.e. apply a suitable serum around
the delicate eye area), loose skin around the upper neck and forehead furrows. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Ask your clinician what
product(s) will give you maximum anti-oxidant properties with additional
firming and toning characteristics, typically these will come from natural
vitamins (not synthetic) and will extend the effects of the treatment by up to
6-8 weeks.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

clinic treatments tend to be focussed on the face. However, there are a growing
number of excellent treatments for the body that can help to lift, tone and
sculpt areas of concern. Commonly these are the neck, abdomen, buttocks, thighs
and upper arms. Radio-Frequency is a great way of giving a more defined

<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Radio-Frequency (RF) (unlike
some light based treatments) is perfectly safe to have with a tan and is pain
free. With a variety of different settings, RF can be used to assist with
muscular injuries, reduction of stretch marks & cellulite and also to
maximise muscle tone and definition. This in turn can provide an ideal ‘kick
start’ with other lifestyle changes such as a healthier diet and exercise etc.
As part of a tailor-made plan RF can really help to transform your

little sunshine in our lives, hurray. The Daffodils are out and looking
gorgeous, which is a perfect reason for giving your skin a good Spring Clean.
Products that are especially formulated to maximise radiance and lift and tone
the skin needn’t be expensive if you know where to look. Most Skin Clinics will
have done all the hard work for you, so take advantage of their selection
process and find out what they recommend specifically for your skin. It may be
a firming serum to get rid of any dull skin or puffiness around the eyes. It could
be a retinol product for any problem areas that need a little specialist
attention. It may even be an intensive moisturiser to give a youthful, fresh
look. Don’t be tempted to go to the high-street and max’ out your credit card
on the ‘super expensive celebrity endorsed’ products that are crammed full of
perfumes and preservatives, they may feel nice to the touch, but if they don’t
make you look a million dollars, why spend that amount on them! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Acne breakouts and
excessive oil or ‘shine’ can be partially due to overactive sebum glands. Harsh
products, sometimes aimed at ‘targeting acne’ can actually make the skin worse
by causing inflammation in the skin which then induces more oil production.
This causes larger pores, redness and visible ‘shine’. The best tips to avoid
these things are to avoid strong exfoliating products as these will inflame the
surface of the skin and change the structure of the uppermost layers. Many
people assume that by trying to ‘dry out’ the skin, the oil production will
reduce, but you can actually exacerbate the situation by reducing the skin’s
ability to heal itself, which frequently results in greater oil production, not
less. The most accurately formulated products can be purchased from a
specialist skin clinic and they are often much less expensive than the
‘advertised brands’ featured in your local shops. For any specific queries on

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Many of us suffer with
dry skin, especially at this time of the year – central heating combined with
fast transition into the cooler air outside doesn’t help. But the best way to
combat it is more than just moisturising. Healthy skin consists of ceramide,
cholesterol and fatty acids, when the balance is disrupted by temperature,
damaging product ingredients, dehydration, inflammation and redness, lack of
elasticity, increased sensitivity and general ageing, the results can lead to
dry and unhealthy skin. In fact using a badly formulated product, or one that
just isn’t suitable for your own individual skin type (no matter how expensive
the product may be and what promises it makes) can be worse than applying
nothing at all. Medically influenced cosmeceuticals (cosmetic pharmaceutical
products) provide the best in skin nourishment and are great for treating the
presumed oxymoron of having dry skin alongside break-outs, both of which are
pre-determined by microscopic inflammation/blocked pores and not the (often
presumed for acne) excess oils. You may find that changing the amount of
product that you use/require varies with the seasons, but the product itself
should be the same.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify;">
<span style="color: #44546a; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 200%;">Even ‘normal skin’
benefits for a routine, but think of this in terms of applications during a
24-48 hour period, rather than being a strict ‘morning/night’ regime, your skin
will forgive you the occasional late night! The traditional T-zone and around
the mouth area tend to be he places that need the most attention, especially
for women, as the number of pores vary here, for men it will tend to be around
the nose and beard line. Remember your delicate eye area and upper neck too,
often neglected and can undo all of your otherwise diligent skin care.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
